Sculpture/Ceramics

As part of a cross-disciplinary Bachelor of Fine Arts Program, the Sculpture/Ceramics concentration offers experience in multidimensional art making, including the creation of functional forms, sculptural objects and installations, as well as projects involving site specificity, community engagement and performance art. Through material and conceptual investigations this professional program offers study in new and traditional media. You will learn to use a wide variety of tools and techniques in our fully equipped woodworking, metalworking, digital sculpture, mold making and casting, and ceramics studios. The curriculum balances design and craft with historical and theoretical discussions that engage your creative practice in the context of contemporary culture and society.
