Class of 2023

I’m captivated by things cryptic and mysterious. My work acts as an enigmatic scenario; whether it be magical or gruesome. The unknown is enticing and serves as a major catalyst in my paintings. It’s common for me to go in with some idea of a blueprint but I often let the work improvise and  dictate itself and take on a life of its own. Sometimes I even abandon my original plans altogether, and just let the ebb and flow of the moment create the work. The body of my work ranges from mystical lightness to the dreary and dark; allowing me to explore the full spectrum of the human experience.
