Class of 2024
Logan Ray Bishop is a painter, printmaker, designer, and writer from Clearwater, FL. He is a prospective MFA ’24 candidate at UConn. Bishop’s work has themes of the body, the landscape, and routine. He thinks of the macho, the uncomfortable and undefinable, humor, American kitsch, love, sexuality, pain, seclusion, and drawing space. The work teeters between representation and abstraction; both for them are nods to roots in expressionism within art history and of the land.
