Logan Bishop

Class of 2024

Logan R. Bishop is a printmaker and writer who lives and works in Connecticut. He is from Clearwater, Florida and received his BFA in Graphic Arts with a concentration in Illustration from USF in 2020.

In their work, there are themes of the body, the landscape, and a secular spiritualism. Bishop wonders often and thinks about art and its relationship to transforming suffering. Drawing, looking, and processing are core roots for him. By utilizing writing and print, he invents forms that can be read, processed, and felt. Using materials of the sea such as limestone in lithography, wood and metals of the land in relief and etching, or painting with plastics, his place as an artist is positioned at a moment where material communicates a response to our ever-changing gravities of today.
