Anna Schwartz
Class of 2025
Anna Schwartz’s work addresses experiences of memory and the development of dominant narratives within history. Working predominantly in painting, as well as inquiries in its expanded field, her works serve as investigations into the layered experience of loss; questioning what we lose when we remember, and what we deem worthy of recovery and preservation in conscious memory. Currently, she’s interested in the psychosomatic experience of grief and military ethics.
