Bahar Ejtemaei

Class of 2028

Art & Art History

Tayebeh (Bahar) Ejtemaei is an Iranian painter whose work explores themes of memory, identity, and the passage of time through abstract and figurative visual language. Born and raised in Iran, Bahar studied painting at the University of Guilan, one of the country’s most respected art institutions, graduating with top honors. Her artwork, deeply rooted in both Eastern and Western experiences, evokes traces of human presence through symbolic fragments—old homes, worn textiles, and light-infused spaces—hinting at absence, nostalgia, and resilience.

Bahar’s work has been exhibited in solo, and group shows across Iran and the United States, including exhibitions at the Boston International Fine Arts Fair and Matter & Light Fine Art Gallery. With a background in teaching and a passion for nurturing creativity in others, she continues to explore painting as both a personal journey and a universal language. She is currently based in the U.S., where she seeks to share her vision with new audiences and participate in global dialogues through art.
