UConn Art & Art History will be holding portfolio reviews and a Q&A session for students interested in pursuing a degree in Art or Art History at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury on Thursday, Sept. 30, beginning at 4 p.m.

This event for prospective students is a part of a larger collaboration with the Mattatuck Museum.  Students will be able to attend a meet & greet and the museum's evening program with CT artist Duvian Montoya and Douglas Degges, Assistant Professor of Art in Painting and Drawing. 

Artist Talk with Duvian Montoya and Douglas Degges | 6:00 p.m.

Join UConn faculty at the museum for a special artist talk with Duvian Montoya as he leads participants through the creative process of his artworks including two works, Our Housekeepers and Our Landscapers 4, which are on display in the Mattatuck Museum. While viewing these works on display, Duvian Montoya will talk about their deeper meaning and the reason for creating the two pieces.  To register for the artist talk only and not the UConn Q&A session, please contact Tashae Smith, Program Manager at the Mattatuck Museum.
