Application Requirements and Procedures
Thank you for your interest in our graduate program leading to the Master of Fine Arts degree. In addition to accessing the information provided on this web site you will need to visit the Graduate School website for a current copy of the Graduate Catalog and application form. The catalog will include detailed information concerning graduate study at the University and in the Department of Art and Art History.

DEADLINE: JANUARY 15

Applications to the M.F.A. Program are reviewed in February for admission to begin study in the fall. There are no mid-year, spring term, or summer period admissions. Five highly qualified applicants are admitted each year and offered renewable merit-based graduate assistantships (see Financial Aid ). The multi-step admissions process requires that separate applications must be submitted to the Graduate School and to the Department of Art and Art History.
