Application Procedures
The M.A. in Art History enrolls eight new, full-time students each year. The program has a two-year schedule, graduating each class of eight students at the end of their second year. No part-time students are admitted, as the program requires a full two-year residency.

APPLICATION DEADLINE FEBRUARY 1, 2008
Applicants to the Masters program in Art History are accepted only for Fall term.

Applications
Please check with the Graduate School of the University of Connecticut, which supplies all application materials. The Graduate School’s website is: www.grad.uconn.edu.

Writing Sample
In addition to the application materials required by the Graduate School, the Department of Art and Art History also requires a writing sample of approximately twenty (20) pages in length.

Test Scores
Students are also required to submit test scores from the General Test of the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) with their application.

Assistantships and Fellowships
To apply for an assistantship or fellowship, select yes after the appropriate question on the application for admission.
